2016 – Wild Quince photographed in the natural Autumn light.

"Created in the Autumn of 2016. There is a wild quince bush that grows in the creek bed on the back roads between our house and my parents house, and every year for the past 10 years that we have travelled this track, we have missed picking them in lieu of some other lucky foraging local. But this year, our timing blessed us with a haul; we did of course just take a few leaving the rest for those other lucky locals. I spent the afternoon on the veradah in the soft Autumn light playing with the gnarly elements. The twigs, leaves and fruit had an air of being so unapologetically wild and rough, quite comfortable with being difficult to work with and authentically imperfect. Deep wisdom in that i say". 

Limited edition museum grade Giclée print. Printed by Atkins Photo Lab in Adelaide with fine art pigment inks on 310gsm archival german etching paper.
