'Nature finds a Way'
2017 - Roadside Wild Olives from Seppeltsfield photographed in the natural Autumn light.
"Created in the Autumn of 2017, this Mandala is built from wild Olives and elements from the tree. The Barossa is scattered with wild Olive trees on the roadsides, particularly around my home in Seppeltsfield. Considered a pest to many, there's endurance, strength and longevity in these trees, as well as in their gifts of their fruit. This tree gave me a nice surprise, with a room like opening to the centre, the floor neatly swept inside from the swaying branches; i was instantly transported back to childhood memories building cubbies under trees".
